The Varsity Blues wrestling team had a great year with many impressive team and individual results.

Jessica Fitzgerald was the Blues top female wrestler this season with first-place finishes at the Toronto Open and the Ontario senior championships. Fitzgerald went on to win an OUA gold medal in the women's 67kg class and was named the outstanding female wrestler of the meet.

Jennifer Seidel had an impressive rookie season with a gold medal performance at the Ontario open U21 championships and a bronze medal at the Queen's University open.

Shujon Mazumder was the only male wrestler to reach the podium at the OUA championships this season with a bronze medal in the 54kg category. Mazumder also placed third (55kg) at the Ontario open senior championships.

John Feng and Matt Fruchtman were also tops for the Blues men's team with two fifth-place finishes at the OUA championships in the 65kg and 90kg categories, respectively.
