The Varsity Blues women’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the McGill Martlets in the gold-medal match of the 2010 Old Four tournament on Sunday, August 29 at Tindall Field in Kingston, Ont.

McGill’s Alexandra Morin-Boucher scored her second goal of the tournament at the 20 minute mark to secure the Martlets seventh consecutive championship at the Old Four tournament.

The Varsity Blues open their 2010 regular season campaign on the road next weekend as they take on the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday, September 4 and Laurentian Voyageurs on Sunday, September 5. Both games are scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.

U of T returns to Varsity Centre the next Saturday, September 11 for their home opener versus the Queen’s Gaels, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
